Newbie Questions on my 3650 Plez Help

Ok i am New to all of this so wat do you recomend to get started wat programs and wat type of link i should use Blue Tooth or InFared and where can i get a Mp3 player for my phone ????? i am soo lost sorry if this is stupid but i would love some help if any one needs help wit Dtv Cards or pcs u can ask me those are my fileds

It's hard to give a definitive list of what programs and games to have installed.

Bluetooth is better than Infra Red, although If you buy a bigger mmc memory card, then I would recommend using a mmc card reader.

Check my two yahoo groups. There's lots of games nad programs there. The mp3 player is on my first group. Look for a file called mp3go.sis in the files section, in the applications folder.

yea, great choice id sae. mmc card reader is the fastest and cheapest way to send and receive data.

koo i been lookin around but can any one give me a site or some where to buy a mmc and reader cheap? and wats the bigest i can use in my n3650? i live in FL in da U.S. also i wanna get a blue tooth usb adapter for my pc any suggestions would help thankz

Your phone's firmware version depends on the size of mmc card your phone will take. Mine is version 2.5 and will only accept cards of size up to 128mb.

If your firmware is 3.16 or above, then your phone will accept 256mb cards without problems. I'm not sure about 512mb cards, although there is a big price increase from 128mb to 256mb and 512mb. 256mb are not too bad in price (if you plan on buying one once off), but you're still talking over €100. 512mb cards are a joke and cost almost as much as the phone itself!

I say that 256 mb cards will work "without problems". It's not that they won't work on firmware BELOW version 3.16. They might, they mightn't. It all depends on the make and manufacturer of the card, and I'd go so far as to say that your phone plays a big part aswell.

i c well i found a 128mb card on the site that red posted and a reader i understand wat u mean about the whole firmwear thing i ve delt wit firm wear before but how or where do i find my phones firm wear verison i have a u.s. nokia 3650

well, a TEC 512 mb card works on watever firmware. but 256 is more than enough, unless u play mp3s and movies on ur fone, i recommend a 128 mb instead.

On saying that, you'd want to be using your phone as your primary music device to buy a 256mb card.

I mean, I only have a 128mb card and have a shit load of apps and games, about 50 .wav files, 15 mp3s and a few video clips and it does me grand.
With a mmc card, it is so easy to swap things around. If I'm going on the bus or train for example, I'll stick 2 episodes of family guy or something on there and use a handsfree kit with it. I'll have to move some of the .wav files to my computer, but I only have music on my phone so I can listen to it with my friends, when we're smoking drugs.
