You do have to do it 1 by 1, but you can also use the PC Suite phone backup feature to backup your contacts to your pc, so if you're just worried about losing them you can do it that way.

What I do is just update the sim phonebook for the people i call a lot if their number changes from the one thats on there, or if I add an important number I add to both right away... that way you have all your important numbers if you put your sim in another phone, but you don't have numbers for 16 different pizza companies, 8 taxi numbers and your auntie Dave clogging up your little card. ;)
