How RESTORE only SMS and contacts?

How I backup my sms and contacts and will restore only both sms and contacts after an hard hard reset? is it possibile via pc data suite?

Pc suite will restore only your contacts if you select the selected data only and mark the contacts box. It's not possible to put you sms back on without restoring everything, you could use an app like msgsaver or desktop message though.

Ok to backup SMS via MsgSaver.. but How I can restore them? It makes a .txt file..and if I'll resend this file to my 3650 (via irda) it will become a simple attach of a message (a note file for the symbian os) and not real sms how they are now, divided into inbox, outbox, archive,ecc. folders.

I hope my shit english it's a little comprensible.

that program is a bit stupid.it simply reads the sms database,write a txt file and send it.but the saved txt has nothing to do with the real messages.anyway,if you send the whole directory c:\system\mail to your pc you did a complete and restorable back up.
