i have heard of some software that will enable you to conrol tv + other things through your 3650.is this true????if it is how far will it work in distance to tv????

well, its an app called irremote, for me, it onli works within 1.5 m.

Mine also works say in the range of 1,5 m. The older version of irremote works better on my 3650. You can find it in different yahoo groups.

i made mine work from 10 ft away.....which is pretty good cuz da 1st 1 didn't barely wrk frm 3 ft away

10 ft you say? mine's about only 1.5 m or so. whats the equivalent of 1.5 meters to ft anyway? . it's cool though coz i get to make fun with the tv's and cd players at shopping malls.. :D .. they just wonder how the cd players pop open and the tvs turn off.. lol.. loads of fun.. :-D :D

the distance it can handle depends on the thing and brand ur remoting... my vcr: 3m, my cd player: barly 1m

1m = 3ft, roughly.

So that's why I it didn't work with mine. I never thought I'd get so close. Takes the fun out of it, if i'm a meter away i'll just stretch my hand there ... :(
