NOKIA 6600 my review and BUGS

hi ppl so this are the bugs i found out:

1. we cant import contacts.cdb that we have in 3650 backup
2. sms bug like 3410 etc.. special caracters ^~`´
3. wav bug ( some wavs dont play to the end and some are invalid suport
4. vibrate mode in sms ( if no tone sms will not vibrate
5. auto lock keyboard sometimes the phone dont ring

I do beleive it's not a bug, i think they meant to do it as it is,
i beleive it's easier, you just type in the name,
for example, if your sending to Mark (and mark is in ur phone book), then you just need to type:
M
or
Ma
or
Mar
or
Mark

in all casses, you'll be asked once again for the exact name, and you get the check box like the Symbian 6 (7650.3650).

And in other case, if you need to type in a number, you press on the # for 2 seconds, it will change to 123, and then you can type a number...

Dude, the hash "#" trick thingyy you were talking about is there in the previous cells aswell like 7650, 3650 etc...

ok ok...i gotta solution to ur contacts side....i am a 7650 user...and i am now using a 6600...in 6600 pc suit...u can only import some limited data...


so i can suggest...
connect ur 6600 to ur pc...then use 3650 PC SUIT....in 3650 pc suit..u create ur 6600's phone name...then go to tools...then select change device...select the device which u wan to import from..to ur 6600...then RESTORE it...i think it should be no problem...

Just use

Agora Contacts manager on your phone (3650)
Backup the existing contact (.csv file)
send the file to your PC

install Agora contacts manager on your new phone (6600)
Send the 3650 contacts (.csv file) to your phone
Browse the messages folder through the Contacts manager
on the phone... Import the contacts (and the groups!)

Voila! your 3650 contacts is now on your 6600!

Here goes some other annoying BUGS:

a) When sending a message and going in the contacts to pick a receiver, try to change the language of the search box! Nope, u get to scroll the names in the background and not the options where u can change the language... lol

b)When sending something via infrared and cancelling transmission halfway, the phone crashes and just restarts!!!

c)Too much noise in the night mode camera... Compared to 7650 and 3650...

d)When restarting the phone and pressing the menu button for the first entrance in the menu it takes some time to get in, after that it's ok...

more bugs come up every day or so, I hope nokia software engineers read forums like that and build a new firmware asap!!!

noise refers to the bright dots appearing (pixel) on the screen when in night mode..
a noise in a camera is not the sound but the video quality..
if there's a noise on the camera then the video is not clear too much of sharpness and bright dots on the screen

a)So freaking what if when you want to change language it stuffs up. Just use english and stop bitching.
c) Doesn't it just amplify light? If so, something with a small reflection of light would show up easily.
d) is it so hard to wait 10 freaking seconds before you push menu???
