for now, its the same ... maby they will launch a new fr ... i realy hope soo! i can't send MMS in my network :(

i havent tried sendin a mms yet ill try it lata to let yous know how mines goes.ohj n ma network is o2

n ma firmware is the same as everyon elses

and has anyone noticed that goin into some folders n that take quite a bit of time or is that just my 6600?

Hello 2 all.. first.. To send an MMS with a 6600 you need some extra comfiguration at the MMS settings (contact your provider for this) Here in Greece i use Telestet .. i send the request SMS to their center.. they send me the settings Via a SmartMessage.. but i couldn't send MMS.. so i call them and they Fax me some extra comfigurations in advances setings inside the GPRS menu and now everything is ok.. but the main problem gere in Greece is that if you send a simple SMS the phone use the unicode format and parts a simple sms to 2 or 3 messages.. Damn.. we r waiting for a new firmware to solve this... (sorry for my bad english)

here in kuwait nmtc company not mtc vodafone i can send mms and sms without problem
and they sent the configration for and i saved it and then i put proxy server they gave it to me and now every think ok

tzeonn ive uninstalled all the try n buy stuff n other programs that came on the foine and have only put on 3 tones so a dont see how that would slow it down but it mainly happenes in the extras folder n there is alot in that so i mite just make a new folder n see if that makes any changes.
