hey.. did you delete the APPS from the C:\ drive or your MMC drive (E:\) ?
try removing the MMC card and start the phone!
Format it using a MMC reader writer...
or format the MMC via the phone itself..
if u still get the error.. lemme know

oh...
I didn't see your subject...
a 6600 eh?
hmmm....
this will erase the phone completely and starts it out fresh
(the way you got it from de shop)?
This will erase your contacts
your pictures,
your apps,
games,
and tones blah blah blah..
and it will restore the old factory settings...
if u wish to continue.. read on:
here's what you do
1.Make sure the battery is full or pretty high
2.switch off the phone..
3.Hold the buttons: Green(call answer) button, *+ button, and 'def 3' button
4. while holding these buttons, press the Power button and switch on the phone.. (make sure you have the buttons held)
5.The word 'formatting' appears on the phone screen.. now leave the buttons...
6.wait for the phone to format completely...
7.Don't start or power off the phone or remove the battery when the phone is in progress of formatting!
hope I helped!
take care!
cheers!

No problem dude!
Anytime!
You can back up your contacts using
Agora Contacts manager
(search for this file in this forum)
or download it from IRC
anyways...
use that file to back up your existing contacts database...
send this to your PC...
incase u delete ur contacts/format ur phone..
install agora contacts manager
and send this to the inbox..
browse the inbox with the application
import the contacts..
hope u understand!
bye!
cheers!

Excellent advice!!! How did you know the format key combinations? Is it on the phone manual? It might come in handy in case we messed up out phone in the future.

I think the 3buttons holding is de best...
u don't actually need to go in the standby mode..
you can use this when your phone doesn't even go to the
standby mode
