Flash Protector ?!

hi all,

is there any method we can use to protect flash in our phone, so that other people can't read or write flash from/into the phone ?

I heard someone said that can be done, with a simple trick on the circuit (hardware part), and it can be remove/clear anytime you want !

please clearify, thanz.

So if you do that thing the phone will work and conect to tools like logo manager but not read flash?

why dont you just cut away the 2 fbus pinout.
left only mbus pinout for logomanager.
so when you need to flash the phone,you need to open the phone and solder the flash cable on the pcb to flash it.:grin:

i think it is better to put some code on the flash file than cut off the hardware thing.
we got program to lock .exe file. some need to comeout with .fls lock.

If you think you can just cutoff the fbus or something relate to the hardware, then you are wrong. People can still find out why it won't flash.

Another solution, solder the flash chip from the phone and put it to another phone to download your flash.

If i found this type of phone, I will get your flash and spread it out to all other for free. Remember your modify skill and tools are what you get *** FREE *** from here.

please do not mis-understood my question ?!

i am not trying to make money from these, but it's true that a guy from China forum told me that case !!

and i don't know anything about the hardware part - i only know software, so i posted the question about the flash protector here.

well, just solder some wires and put them wherever you want so that you only know where you connect your flasher...

You can't put code in the flash file because (a) you are not a mobile phone programmer and (b) when you are in flashing process the phone is turned off, it does not execute code.

what pin you mean,if you mean hardware,than we can just take the flash chip out and put it in to another phone to get the flash like what NokiaPhreak say.hehe:grin:

Of course i mean the hardware pin. As i said before, you can't change the code of the flash file.
