HER IS THE REPLY I JUST RECEIVED FROM WWW.GSMDIRECT.COM/

We know the unlocking kit will unlock an A300 and the hundreds of
customers that have also purchased the kit have confirmed this.

Your inability to operate the goods purchased does not constitute a
valid reason for refund, and you have not proven that the goods are
faulty, only that you have connection problems.

We know exactly what you're up to, so don't think we will let you mess
us around.

If you have a problem with our service then contact trading standards.
Also, if you are going to post on forums then at least provide a bit
more information for your potential readers, the stuff you posted is
all vey vague.

NOT EXACTLY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE NOW IS IT.

Well actually it very fair.

Little most traders a few times customers tried to get refunds for the strangest reasons or send back stuff that has been damaged by them and claiming that arrived like that in the mail.

it sounds from the small amount of info from there e-mail that you are having connection problems. This is a pandoras box you can not ensure that a certain program on your machine is causing the problems or you hardware is in conflict.

Also I recevie from other retailers "problem customer info" as part of a scheme run by the market group in the town so we are well informed about scams.

YES, BUT LIKE I EXPLAINED TO THE PEOPLE AT GSMDIRECT ,

I HAVE TRIED THESE LEADS ( samsung 4-1 unlocking set ) ON TWO DIFFERANT , HI SPEC COMPUTERS, BOTH RUNNING WIN98 SE, WITH THREE DIFFERANT SAMSUNG A300 PHONES, AND EVERY TIM RECEIVED THE SAME ERROR "CONNECTION ERROR, CHECK LEAD AND TRY AGAIN"

SURELY YOUR NOT GOING TO TELL ME THAT ALL THREE PHONES ARE FAULTY, OR THAT BOTH COMPUTER HAD THE SAME HARDWARE CONFLICT!!!

I HAVE MANY UNLOCKING PROGRAMS, AND MANY MANY LEADS, AND HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF THEM.

AND THE SECOND COMPUTER I TRIED THEM ON HAD NO OTHER SOFTWARE ON IT!

DOES'NT THIS POINT TO A FAULTY LEAD TO YOU!!

It might be a good idea to take it to a small "service center" - not an official one of course - who use the same sort of cables and software and ask them to test your stuff on their machine...

Then you can tell straight off!

And another good idea would be turning off your caps lock - you're coming across as being slightly "newbyish"

Oh, post in the correct section please- a problem with a trader/samsung cables shouldn't be appearing in "Nokia General Discussion" section!

FIRSTLY, IF I WANT TO WRITE WITH THE CAP LOCKS ON, THEN I WILL MATE, BECAUSE I ALWAYS WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS.

SECOND , ALTHOUGH MY PROBLEM IS WITH A SAMSUNG LEAD, I HAVE GOT THE RIGHT SECTION AS IT IS A SUBJECT OF GENERAL DISCUSSION.

I STARTED THIS POST CAUSE I WANTED TO TELL PEOPLE OF MY EXPERIANCE OF A COMPANY I HAD BROUGHT SOMETHING FROM, AND FEEL AS IF I HAVE BEEN RIPED OFF.

JUST BECAUSE I DIDNT BUY A NOKIA LEAD FROM THEM, MAKES NO DIFFERANCE.

IVE NEVER SEEN A SAMSUNG GENERAL DISCUSSION LINK ON THIS SITE, OR I WOULD HAVE PUT IT THER !!!

SO FU FU FU FU FU ,,,, THANKYOU FOR YOUR REPLY

Hey - Did you even read the first paragraph?
Or are you so intelectually inept you can't do this?

Right - Plain and simple, you posted wrong!
I've been here for a good while now, I know when a totally out of place post appears!

We have 3 more appropriate sections :-
Sales (Most appropriate - as you say its a complaint about a trader!)
Samsung (Less appropriate - but you'd get help on the samsung cable problem or backup that your analysis is correct, at any rate)
Lounge (Least approptiate - but its got a more social feel, so you could be nice and warn people)

[Dont take that to mean you can post in all 3 - thats just spam]

FU FU FU FU FU FU

Do you seriously expect to get help with this attitude? Believe me, you wont.
You can't just come here, wrong post then go off at someone who trys to both help you and point you in the right direction!

You can, as you say, post in all caps - I was just giving you a pointer on nettiquette (Look thru other posts, no-one else really posts all in caps - especially not for such long messages)
I mean, you can post any way you want - and say anything you want - but if you take the "I do what I want attitude" you wont last long here!

Mods and users mix - actually, in this forum - mods actually are active users! So, Mods do read posts (unlike in "other" forums where many things slip past them!)
Its such a tight forum here we all know each other, we like to keep it relevant!

We appreciate the warning about the supplier - but please take my advice (for your own sake) and post in the appropriate section and dont insult someone because they have proven you wrong (in a way) - act mature and just apologise, or even just "Ok - if thats how it is here I respect that"

Rgds

- NOTE:
Only reason this hasn't been moved is that you've started an arguement for no reason, and I believe the admin/mods are acting fairly letting me respond
