Hi,

What's the best video playing software out there that
works with 6600? I've tried to use PVPlayer and VideoMMS
but they're tearing my hair out. VideoMMS definitely has
best video quality, it uses some filter to make image
less pixelated and so much better looking than PVPlayer
in my opinion. But it doesn't have option to fast forward clips,
and for some reason it won't play sounds on same .mp4 clips that
PVPlayer does. It plays .3gp files with sounds nicely but
I haven't yet found a way to create .3gps in decent quality.
Nokia Convertor 2.0 e.g always seems to make the same
pixel mess no matter how high you put the conversion bitrate
or 'max file size'.

So I'm looking for a soft that would have the image quality
of VideoMMS, full screen support and would play variety of
different video formats or alternatively some soft that
would allow creating high quality .3gps.
Is there such things?

Thanks in advance!

VideoMMS is in full screen yeah but there's problem as well,
if you press any button it returns back to the smaller size
and if you're watching a clip longer than 15secs you have
to keep pressing some buttons to make the screen light
stay on. Apparently there's a program called 'Torch' that
would solve the problem and make the light stay on, I think
I need to give it a try. And another small nuisance in VideoMMS
is that you need to patch it first to be able to play videos
from MMC and even then videos need to be in one specific folder
for program to find them.

I'd so pleased to find a good quality ->.3gp convertor.
Helix Producer creates only .rms but 6600's Real Player can't play
the clips in full screen at least yet. PVAuthor creates very
nice looking .mp4s if you adjust the bitrate high but their
sounds seem to work only on PVPlayer where the image quality
goes crappy. On VideoMMS these .mp4s would look amazing but
for some reason it doesn't play sounds of them.
It would play sounds on .3gp files but the only program I've seen
that creates .3gps, Nokia Convertor, seem to have some annoying
upper limit for bitrate used in conversion which makes the quality
pretty horrible:/
