6600 On Orange - Info

Just to let every body in the sunny ol UK, I work for Orange and have just been informed that the 6600 had been delayed until mid January 2004. This is due to 'technical difficulties'. No matter what any store tells you, this phone will be delayed until at least Mid January.

does that mean its the same for contracts aswell cos if it is am gona b f*****g ragin as ave just ordered one on contract n a couldny get it on vodafone cos orange had the best offer

As far as I am aware the phone is only gonna be released initially on contract with Orange. Usually the phone won't go PAYG for a couple of months until stock levels have grown.

So yes Orange 6600 will not be available on contract until Mid Jan 2004

oh well.am no getin it on orange now lol am gona get it on o2.
first it was vodafone- couldnt get it cos the deal a wanted ended
Orange - cos a wont get it to mid jan
O2 - only one a havent tried lol

speaking of UK providers ....

do any of the uk networks provide pay-as-you-go services ....
especially if you already own ur phone ....

also do/well they still lock ur phone to their sim/network ..????

last year when i got ma 3510 it was on o2 and i could use any sim in it it wasnt unlocked by anyone it was like that straight from the shop.but a dont know anymore cos well i then had my brothers 3510i witch was sim free,them ma mate gave me his 7650 and that was on vodafone contract .so a dono anymore
4 fones in one year n thats including ma 6600 witch should be here in a few days now :-P :smile:
