Hi,

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to flash a different language on to a Communicator 9210 with the use of a simple data cable or do you actually need special equipement?

And if so I would be very intrested how to do it.

sorry... but the solution is only one: flash the phone. I have used a griffin box to change from german to italian (flash from 5.34 to 5.54 version and language)

You have a netmonitor activated? if yes set check in menu 031 if is set "serial cable" or "Fbus mode":

"Fbus mode" is used for flashing mode (no work with PC Suite!!!), "Serial cable" is for normal connection with PC

You go on netmonitor functions only from front display of commy: scroll form menu and when "Netmonitor" menu appear press "select", digit "031" and press "ok"... display say "Fbus mode" or "Serial cable".
For clean the display (but not the function activated) press menu, go to netmonitor press "select" and digit "000", press "ok".

if you don't have netmonitor activated use Logomanager and a Mbus cable
