Hi everyone, i have just bought a nokia 6600, i dont know much about the fone apart from that it is meant to be the best on the market at the minute. First of all can anyone tell me what would be best to use for file transfers? infra-red, although rescent nokia infra red havnt been that good, or bluetooth for around 15 pound of ebay? would that do everything i would want it to, ringtones wallpapers, mp3's etc.
Secondly, do i have to install an mp3 player or will i be able to run music through real player which is already on the phone. And finally software and games, has anyone got any good sites ,Free ones. And does the phone play mp3's as ringtones? and has anyone got the best software for uploading etc?
Thanks alot

Get a bluetooth dongle and use that, its faster then IR. Nokia Data Suite for 6600 over bluetooth will do everything you want it to.
The best MP3 player for the 6600 is MP3 GO which is readily available from the many Yahoo! groups - also check the lengthy tread on MP3 players in this forum. It plays MP3 files straight off the MMC.
Goto http://groups.yahoo.com and search for Nokia 6600 or Series 60 or Symbian and see what comes up - there are loads of Yahoo! groups providing games and software for nowt ;)

I just want to add that MP3Go does not work with 6600. Therefore, choose MP3Player, which is a the first, fully functional Mp3Player on the 6600. Am I right? Yes, I am.

MP3Go DOES work on the 6600 - at least it does on mine :-P
However, after trying MP3Player - its actually much better then MP3Go so go for that one ;)
