Setting Hotmail and Yahoo mail on 6600...how?

Does anyone know how to set e-mail properly on the 6600?

I keep getting "Error: Check e-mail settings."

What kind of E-mail? Pop3 or IMAP?

I want to set up email on my 6600 as well. Especially Hotmail ...

Have you tried the WAP/GPRS based site: www.mymail.ie

You can check your Hotmail emails as long as you have WAP or GPRS connection

I had to set it up through my cell provider and then its set. To my knowledge yahoo doesnt work unless are paying for their email you can not use there pop3 email for free accounts. If im wrong correct me. I have tmobile usa and I set up an MSN email. Its kinda nice to download attachments via wap but I never use it after all that. Also usually you have to set up your outlooks express for the configurators (most cell providers use them) to detect your email account just a tip.

So ... can you tell me how to set it up? What does T-mobile USA have that allows our Nokia 6600 to receive Hotmail?

If you have t mobile just go to www.tmobile.com and sign in and you will see the option to add an email account. Once go to that page there is a configurator that does all the work.

You can use the opera browser to enter the hotmail website and check your mail but good luck surfing through.
