i need just a few moments of answers please peeps, i have a sont ericsson t610 and its barred i want to do something about this, what is the best way to do so. is there a program that can write imei with out taking out the chip or do i have to do that what is the best possible way please any help will greatful people

hey yes there is s way but you have to options DIV 8.2 or SE fighter but they are both around 80.00 mark.

Yes DIV is spot on as long as you have terminator Dongle.

i got my dongle this morning. i have div 8.4
how can change it?
i selected change imei, enterd the new one, it loads the i get an error 5001 or somthing. can you or any one help?

dont rush into it first select t610 then there is 3 boxes at the bottom
box1=t610fullflashv4R1A081 this can be found in emtyboard imei
box2=t610modemR1A081.

then press make selected jobs
when complete type new imei,clear sp locks,and in bottom box,put fullgdfs
and press make selected jobs and all is done PLEASE POST RESULTS

I've done 7 or 8 of these mate and to be honest all I did was:

1/Select T610 in the top
2/select change imei,then enter desired number in space provided
3/select do jobs

you will now find all 4 locks closed closed. Don't panic :-o

1/now select repair 4 locks closed
2/Do jobs and thats it.

Sorry mate select "Reset GDFS(4 locks closed)"

then remove and refit bat insert sim and you should be smilin :D

i tried to change imei on t610. it changed but then 4 locks were closed. i chose fix 4 locks closed and its still locked. i changed imei back to normal and its working, but still barred. how do i change imei and open all 4 locks?

Try changing number again then type in the phone <**<
should show 4 locks closed
now reconnect to dongle and select reset gdfs only nothing else ticked
do jobs
now type <**< into phone and check lock status
if the first 2 locks are closed you just need to "rebuild SP with otp imei"
and should be ok!

i tried to change the imei of my t610 using div 8.4 but after changing the imei and reseting gdfs i get all four locks still closed. If i then rebuild sp area using OTP IMEI i get the old IMEI back and not my changed one, but phone does now accept sim card.

ne help would be greatfull on changing IMEI.
