hi , i wanna use a serial cable to upload some stuff to my 3650, any ideas for how to??? thanx

its too cumbersome and evertime u hafta remove da battery and sim card.

Use IR or better still bluetooth instead!

well, i tot pc suite can b used?

im not sure how a cable works.... cant help u much here....

like Yeskia said, its better to get a bt.

what i really know is to connect the cable by removing the batteri and the sim card the plug the cable and put the batteri and īsim on the right place... then in the pc suite you have to choose the COM port you have your phone connected to... and all done i think but i don't think it will work directly becouse you need some sort of signal that makes the pc suite reconize the phone... but it is worth a try now that you bought the cable...

da signal part will be done by mrouter. As long as u got PCSuite installed and da cable connected to 1 of em ports, it shud work!

i found an option in pc suite to connect via cable but when i try to choose the com port an error message appear "unknown error", is this a problem with the pc suite or my operating system??? (am using windows ME)

I dont think specifying connect via cable is imp as long as u specify da correct com port. Cant say if da prob is due to OS, but dump ME anyways :p

if this is the first time you are connecting the phone to your PC then check the following:

if you have installed SDK so that you can use PC suite along with other NOKIA phones then make sure that you select COM port only in the m-router and uncheck all others in the other router that is the one with the small phone symbol.(b`cause i did the same mistake and couldn`t get it work for 7 days. :lol:
