View Full Version : Remove operater logo 6600

Does anyone know how to remove the stupid O2 logo that is on o2 supplied phones, it is not transparent, and when using themes, it displays a large block of white behind the blue o2 logo which fills the space available for the op logo. I know that generic handsets bought sim free just display O2 - UK as any other phone would as i have this one, (the other is my wife's, she has the one with the poxy o2 logo). Any help in resetting it back to default would be greatly appreciated...

u need seleq installed on ur fone, go to c:/system/apps/phone/oplogo, and delete the pic inside. or u can set ur own logo using seleq or fexplorer.

isn't the op logo built into the gsm card? i would try placing an empty .bmp in the oplogo folder. create an empty bmp file and use fexplorer or seleq to turn it into op logo. it might work.

will seleq alow you to select "set as op logo" on the 6600 as before on the nokia 7650, haven't seleq any more on my computer does it work on the 6600, had it on my 7650.

yes. not sure if it works, but i heard mani 6600 users saying it works v well for them. u can find it on my group.

very new to 6600... c:/system/apps/phone/oplogo referring to 6600 right? how do u go there?

get a file explorer like seleq or fexplorer. not sure fexplorer works, but seleq shld work on ur fone fine.

ive deleated the operator file and folder with seleQ and rebooted the 6600
but now it just desplays O2 uk in text where the blue and white O2 logo used to be,

what do i do to remove the text that says O2 uk?
