8210 - Worth Fixing???

I have a 8210 that doesn't get reception (i have updated FAID) and it doesn't ring, it only vibrates. :sad:

I don't have any special equipment - i am guessing that it is a hardware problem.... RIGHT???

Is it worth fixing..... or is it a DUD!! :lol:

Try reflash it and reset all setting tu defult

Firs about buzzer..measure it..it must be around 20 ohms....
for no network run a test with Eeprom tools 3.1 and 4.0...post results..

Mr. doradora....a pice of advice....always run a test first..this will give U a point where to start...to repair elektronics we need eyes which are test progies and hardware equipment...

If the buzzer is ok, then check the continuity between pin 5 of chip N500 and the buzzer as it could also be a broken track.

As for the no reception, because you have already updated the FAID, there is no need to reflash.
Test it with Eeprom tools.
