Nokia 6600 on Orange

Hi guys, i am going to get one of these bad boys when it arrives in Jan {UK}

What i want to know is.......is Nokia going to lock down the phone like it did with the spv?

if it is going to lock it down i dont think i will buy one on orange.

does anyone know if the are going to do it?

If you mean Network Sim Locked then Yes.

If you mwan Software Application Locked then probably not

Orange SPVs come unlocked now and if yours is locked you can get it unlocked easily... im not sure if nokias can be locked locked to be honest but the 6600 will be Oranges first official symbian when they get thier butt in gear and launch, but I seriously doubt they will be locked. it opens up a whole intresting security debate the good old porn dialers that seem to install themselfs coud be making their way to a phone near you ;)
