I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but i did a quick search and didn't find a thread.
I believe that this is not possible, but while browsing the thread, I came across this thread on another forum where ppl have discussed it, it has more than 10 pages. Well i don't know anything about flashing and stuff, but what i understand from what i read is that IT IS POSSIBLE and there is a guy (melakamobile), who's a mod there, claiming that he can do it.
According to him:
u have to use 7250i v3.08 to upgrade!!!and this 7250i v3.08 no ppl have it because it is a trial flash file from nokia!!!if you dont believe me ,come on i will show you !!!!
And:
As i told you all 7250i version 3.22 cannot flash to 7250 because this flash file is bigger then 7250 v3.14 file !So we have to use 7250i v3.08 to upgrade it cause this flash file same size with 7250 and it will be ok!
And:
YES YES YES!!!!!!Finally i can upgrade 7250-7250i with software version v3.22 !!!!after you upgrade to v3.22 just buy the .rpl file and use fps-8 to put in this .rpl file !!! this .rpl file is a eeprom file ! last time i said that can upgrade 7250-7250i but that is only a trial version (v3.0 and got some bugs inside!Now i have successfully upgrade 7250 to 7250i with v3.22 flash file!
fps-8 is a machine that original nokia factory using for upgrade and do all the eeprom thing!
Now i don't know anyhting about flashing and stuff, so how true is this? Or is he just pulling everybody's leg??
