My 3310v4.06 occasionally freezes/hangs. Iupgraded to v5.55...v5.57... some orig Nokia softwr from other 3310 fons using Rolis flasher v4.77, EEProm Tools by B-phreaks, Nokia Tool v3.21 by Jordik (selecting all special factiory settings, updating FAID, etc.). My upgrading to sw versions is a success but the occassional freezes/hangs still occurs. Can somebody help me, please?

Where does it exactly hang?
Be more specific.

if it hangs before you upgrade it and still hangs after upgrading i think its a hardware problem. i somewhere that they remove 1 component on the 3310 to fix it.

It hangs randomly at any instance (writing message, or sending, or opening menus, at startup, anywhere. . . )

hhmmm..."nokia Expert"...???
you should know the answer to this one if you are a nokia expert.

as for the problem it can come under one of 2 controll sections of the phone, one could be a simple power management issue where a resistor value needs to be changed in the power section. PM me for more details on this.
Or you could be dealing with a faulty MAD2 in that case it will need to be replaced.
i would put my money on it being the first one as this was a common prob with some 3310s:) especially the older ones Hence V4.06
