Hey all.
This is what I'm planing to do:
Connect nokia phone via mbus/fbus to micro controller.
Make software for micro controller.
We have a hollyday house by the beach. The problem is that most of the year no one is there.
The plan is to make the unit send me sms when say the tide is higher the usuall and give me a early warning of flooding.
also when the sea surface goes belov 1 or 0 centigrade to tell me when the ice is comming.
and ofcourse some opto compounents inside the cabin witch can tell me when there is a burglar on the move.

To make it even more advanced:
Send sms to cabin unit.
example:
temp
send to:
545465132
answer from cabin unit
temp in sea bed: 4c
temp 1 meter: 20c
temp sea level : 32 c
ore:
send sms to cabin unit
heat on
send to:
545465132
Some of this can be bought for example remote heat start.
But it is to expensive and it's always more fun to build something yourselfe:)
Has anyone done something simular?
any ideas?
