i have just brought a nokia 3650 and i have a mmc card reader and was wondering if there was any way i can install my software straight onto the card from my pc?

mm it wont work.... i tryed a SIS unpacker and successfully unpacked the files and put them in the right place but i get a system error when i want to start the program... so there is something that the installer(on the phone) does with the software that makes it work.. maybe it registers the software or something like that...

Do you know if i can update the phone software the same way or do i need a flasher?

u need a flasher, or u can get it done at nokia care ctrs. its free if ur fone is still under warr.
