6600 - how do you delete application?

in the nokia 6600, how do you delete an application to regain memory space?

please help ... i dont want this app anymore ...


when i press "C" in attempt to delete the app, it says "Unable to delete application"

then how do you delete it?

i just realized after reading the user's guide. sorry for this wasted space on the server. i couldnt keep this app on my fone you say, otherwise ill be in big punishment :-o

anyway, i realized you had to go to App Manager, click on Options on the application and click remove. then you have to confirm it.

to anyone out there who is like me, once had a series 40 phone (7250 to be precise) and switched to a series 60 phone (6600 in particular) ... read the user's guide and don't think you know all about phones ... especially when you switch to a new generation of different types lol!

same case here... last time used to own 8250 then switch over to 6600.... took me days to get use to the phone... ;)

Took me a few minutes, because i had to ... otherwise i was in BIG TROUBLE.

NB: Don't ask me what the application was :lol:

Anyway, i cant be bothered to read the user's guide sometimes because its so thick compared to 7250's. So i try to figure out things.

So far, i'm impressed with the Voice Commands as well as colour wap display.

i dont know what the fuss is all about, about nokia forcing service providers to upgrade their wap services. If you know more about it, im interested in hearing it. cheers!
