Use wav files, they are very loud if you properly edit them using windows recorder s/w.

or if u send mp3 via pc suite from the file trnasfer section, it will automatically change it to wav file, smaller than the orig mp3, and sounds the same. put it in the sounds folder so it shows up in the profiles ringtones.

Ringtone Studio works on my 3650, it did make midi tone louder but not as lound as what u wish.
I use GoldWave (windows app) to make wave tone louder ( as ur wish how loud u want, until ur fone speaker cant take it) then transfer it to my fone and PC Suite automaticlly make it to smaller file. Or if you want to make it smaller, convert it again to .amr format by Nokia Multimedia Converter ( windows app, free download at Nokia forum ) but drop in sound quality.

If you have ringtone studio installed, try to listen and remember what kind of midi instrument was used for the song's melody... you can duplicate that melody/track using another midi instrument... for example, it was played in 'flute', duplicate it and set it to 'vibraphone'... and make both tracks louder.

best advice for you is too use a program called midiwriterPRO (to edit on your fone) or PSMplay (to edit on your PC) you can find both in my yahoo group :D

So far so many method try,the best is goldwave which really makes the ringtone loud to the standard u want but one problem is that goldwave seems not able to read midi files. So I need to use a MID converter 3.2 to convert midi to wave. Then I can edit the file on goldwave.
So now say 'bye bye' to soft ringtone sound!

as momagic sed. use midiwriter pro... its 10,000 times better than ringtone studio. and it can make ur midis louder. i dont recomand u to convert midi to wav coz the filesize will be huge compared to midi

I have try midipro but not very easy to use (maybe u can give some tips on how to set the volume louder)and I try the volume change which does not do much effect. While goldwave is very easy to use ,just change the volume percentage and it works!

ok, first you have to open a .mid file with midiwriterPRO,
when it open it will show you all the channels i.e: Tk1 or Tk3,
what you have to do is press the option (left softkey) and scroll down to track
(now press right) and go to setup, once in that menu,
scroll all the way down to channel volume (the highest volume is 127)
and now repeat these steps for all other channels
