nokia 6600 vodafone

I have just bought a 6600 on vodafone and want to convert to Orange WAP,GPRS,MMS could anybody help with inputting the settings and getting rid of the welcome to vodafone startup logo any help with the settings and how to input appreciated many thanks mikep. :-?

Call 156 (i Think) should be Orange's Wirefree team. Tell them you have got a new phone and they will send out all of the relevent setting to your phone.

As for the start-up logo, you could try reflashing but I would just live with it.

when i was at vodaphone looking for a sony ericcson z600 they said they had custom vodaphone software that you couldnt use with other networks without sending the phone away to change it.. its some bullshit they do and they suck

The 6600 was on voda but i unlocked it easy with code generator available on the net smart calculator v 1.17 i think good bit of kit. mikep :-?

Thanks for the advise,i'm on payg orange i think its 451,its a 07973 number that costs a fortune if they keep you hanging on !
