I upgraded the firmware on my 8210 using Rolis 5.14 (using XP but running Userport prog) but didnt know about the delay settings in the setup menus - when backing up, I got the "Flash image MCU SW checksum is bad. After write back, you will get 'Contact Service' Save anyway?" message (have since found out that this only happens on my setup when delay index=1).

The backup doesn't seem to be any use (after examining the .fls file with analyser software). I can still flash the phone and have tried various software versions (including virgin EEPROMs) but I am getting 'Contact Service' as soon as the power is turned on. Whenever I try to read anything through Mbus cable I get a 'phone not connected' (had previously used Eeprom Tools on same phone to unlock it so cable did work before).

Anyone help or point me in the right direction?

Do you have a URL where I could d/l Winflash from?

Have tried more software but my phone still says Contact Service. :(
