3650 Direct Internet Conection

Hi ppl!

I often use agile messenger to conect to the msn net. I use a bluetooth adapter to make the connection to my pc, and via dsl I conect to the net. The prob is that sometimes the bluetooth failes, and I have to make again the connection to the pc. To do this, I have to reconect the pc suite to my phone and leave it on.

Is there any way to conect my phone to the pc from the phone??? It wolud be great to be in my leavingroom and do not have to go to my room in order to reconect the phone.

Any ideas???

I use exactly the same mechanism for connecting to the internet via my cellphone, i don't always face this problem but it is irritating when it happens.
I haven't come accross any solution as yet but if you find any lemme know aswell k.

This problem probably occurs when u have ure bluetooth devices both are in hidden mode.. It is the safest way to bluetooth, but has some issues..

It probably will work better, if you have u have atleast one of your devices in discoverable mode (preferrably your computer) and the devices are set to automatically pair.. Then you can call the GPRS connection from the phone and hopefully it would work reconnect fine..

tell us, how can we make that call??? To call the pc via gprs. I supose that it is free of charge no?

My probs are usually when I go out of the action range of the bluetooth, I mean, when I go more than 10 metters from my bluetooth devide. That's when the device disconects.

How are you exactly using the internet on your fone via pc? You have setup an a GPRS access point right, where u define your pc's bluetooth name as the access point and connect? So that's what i meant by calling the PC via GPRS (meaning the Phone will search for your PC's bluetooth connection availabilty and automatically connect)..

Check if your computer's bluetooth settings are in discoverable mode.. The way to do this is go to My Bluetooth Places, Bluetooth and Advanced Settings.. One of the tabs will give you the Discoverable mode settings..

I have done an acces pont and leave it like it is in predefinited configuration, with the ip in 0.0.0.0 and things like that. When I enter in the agile messenger and try to conect, it asks me to select the acces point. I press the created one, that I have named ADSL, and then it stays trying to conect, but with no connection to the bluetooth of my pc.

Is your computer's Bluetooth name ADSL? If not u have to name it that (since that is what u have mentioned in your GPRS Access point setting).

Another thing, the connection should be setting for Internet Sharing...

Haven't managed to connect from the phone.

it would be great if u could tell me step by step how to do it, and then share it with everybody, otherwise I won't be capable to do this, 'cause there are too many things.
