Hi,
I bought a Ready4U Nokia 3595 from Best Buy today, but I want to transfer my existing account. Rogers has transferred it, but my SIM card is locked. Please post a code that I can use to unlock my phone. Also, if i've entered 5 incorrect passwords, can I use my own data cable to enter in the code, and if so, how. Thank you.

you need a true mbus/fbus data cable to unlock..but think the one wiht the phone is not the one

I'm so stupid,
I forgot to remove the SIM card before I unlocked....is this bad? Sorry, newbie question.

Donot worry it wont Damage you fone
If you got RESTRICTION OFF
then fone is unlocked

Thank you. Yea, i got the restriction off, but i wasn't sure whether or not everything was unlocked. Thanks for the help.

Listen, one other question...now that i've unlocked it, what exactly did I do. I know I unlocked it onto the Roger's Network, but what else, what capabilities does the phone have now that it didn't before. Can i use it on other networks?

is that is can be udes on other provider
Only in The USA ; Canada
wont be able to use it in Europe ; Asia & Africa

Is this restriction related to bands of operation (which I understand - they may not have the 850/1900 there) or is it a technical limitation?

USA Fone work on a GSM Band diferent ot asia and Europe
USA Bands are GSM 850/1900
Asia /Europe use GSM 900/1800
that is why it wont work
