N-Gage Message vibrate and PC Suite

*Message Vibrate
my n gage will only vibrate once when in silent mode - it can hardly be felt when in college
can it be set to vibrate more? with out the sound?

*PC Suite
requires an expensive! bluetooth pc connection
can it be used with out a bluetooth pc connection? through usb ports?
atm, i can only access the memory card using the usb cable

hmm.. try to change to a different tones. might vibrate longer. i tried b4

if u want, juz get a bt dongle. u need it to install other app and games (not ngage games)

or juz get fexplorer installed on ur fone, (via wap or wat) den install stuff u send to ur mmc thru the fexplorer.

i cannot try a tone because even if the fone says silent then it will still play the message tone

nokia have screwed up big time on this one




and the PC Suite does not come with a warning that you need to spend a further £50 on a bluetooth connection for the pc

dongle? bt dongle = bluetooth device. get it, its worth it.

bt dongle is not a software! its a device u get to pair ur fone wif ur com.

u can install fexplorer wifout a bt, or if u haf wap, get a wapsite from someone to dl fexplorer.

yea, onli install thru a bt, not neccessary thru pc suite.

wap and gprs, u can call ur telco to activate it and send the settings to u.

getting a bluetooth device, u can send stuff to ur fone, as well as send stuff from ur fone to ur com.

juz get a longer tune so it vibrates longer, fexplorer is juz a file manager on ur fone, not profile manager.

You didn't pay for the PC Suite software anyway did you so why do Nokia care if you need to find your own means of connection. Also, there's no way that you need to spend £50 on a bt dongle, mine was £13 ages ago and that works fine, from Watford esaves or something, can't remember.

I mean the same by bt dongle as was explained earlier in the thread. PC World is the most overpriced computer parts store ever. Belkin parts are overpriced too.

Ive dealt with them for some time now and i can positively say they are the worst company to buy from. Service is awful, getting in contact with them is damn near impossible, and they have tonnes of small type which ultimately gives u only a few days before its non returnable.

I got a PC from them over a month ago and its been sent back 4 times because of their own fault. My university grades are suffering and they took all my money out a year before it was due!

i installed it - its a crap program - so uninstalled it
and it has left 7 ish mg on the memory card

its a 30mg card with 19mg of a nokia flogame on it
there was 19 mg left for me to put stuff on
now there is only 4mg left!

i have took every thing but the game off and there is an invisable 7 meg left on there

help?

dude! just format the n-gage! then put the game back on and all ur other stuff


to format just right click on the n-gage drive then click format.
