BT Cellnet - Obsolete in new phones?

Hi guys,

I just used 'unique mobiles' online unlocking service...Worked fine! The last time (xmas day) i entered code 7 from a program and it didnt work. I entered code one from this online calc, and the sim restriction was removed - what a delight!!!

The problem? My old sim card wont work - the phone just says insert sim. My orange one works fine, and my mums old o2 sim works fine too, so why not BT Cellenet? it works fine in my Sony J5.

its just the bt sim aint compatable with the unlocked phone. must be an old bt sim.

Is it an old 5V sim or the newer 3.3 (i think)?

Very strange, i tried it out again and it works. The op logo even changes to O2 UK instead of BT Cellnet like it does on my J5.

Guess this thread can now be considered closed...Still, very strange how it worked second time round!

Sim may have been dirty my sim is very problematic sometimes :(
