infrared starts up automatically?

Hi, I have the following problem:

When i push the down-button on my 3650, my infrared connection gets activated. When it gets deactivated after a minute (cause of no activity on the IR) i first have to open and close the menu, and then it does it again (activate IR when i press down-button)

I first noticed this after i installed blz-installer. I've never had this happen before, so i'm guessing it has something to do with something i installed. The blz -installer also gave an error when i tried to install a game, so i'm thinking there's a chance this blzinstaller was bogus and maybe even a virus? I removed the installer, but the IR -problem is still there.

so,
1. anyone has had the same problem with IR being activated when pressing the down-button?
2. Are there virusses being spread for symbian-OS? And if so, is there a virus scanner i can get? Or maybe a virus scanner for the PC can detect them also?
I'm pretty new to the whole mobiles-with-OS-world

edit: well, the answer could be that it is standard on each 3650 that downbutton activates IR and i'm hoping for that. But it's curious it never happened before than. Also strange is that it only works when i first opened and than closed the menu screen.

how big is the blzinstaller, since u tink its a hoax. its supposed to be a v small file.

Its not blzinstaller. Its Taskmanager which causes that. Press and hold the Menu button, when Taskmanager opens, go to settings and you will see a shortcut for the Down Button which is for Infra-red. Deactivate.
