Convert files for mmc

Hi, i bought a 6600 a few wek ago but had few faults with it so im on my 3rd one now. I bought a 256 mmc for £50 and i was just woundering how i could convert them? what would be the average size? and would i lose sound quality? and one more thing, i was speaking to someone wit a sony p800 and he said that if you have file manager and r runnin a symbian os then you can change the start up and shutdown of the phone, is that right? Thanks alot

u cant change the shut down, most u can do to start up, is add a pic. and wat do u mean by convert? convert wat?
