copy msgs to phone

My nokia 3650 phone was giving me problems like Application folder took a lifetime to open so I formatted the phone memory by code *#7370#.but the problem is still present.i am thinking of formatting the card.but i have about 900 sms messages on the card which i don't wanna loose.i don't have an IR port or a bluetooth on the pc so i can't transfr nything on pc.is there any software by which i can copy messages from memory card to phone memory and after formating the card transfer the messages back.i am using SeleQ, but i think it can copy only from phone memory to card.can anyone help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!

copy and paste the whole e:/system/mail/(1st folder), to c:/system/mail/(first folder), den format mmc, move the files back. its better u copy and paste using seleq.

I cant see the messages in the messaging folder.Also whn I formatted the mmc, it showed 15mb free.When i moved the messages folder(703.98 kb) back from c: drive to e: drive the memory dropped from 15 to 11 mb free.can u pls help me?

when the msgs are in ur fone, u cant view it???

if u can, juz go to messages, options, settings, other, set mem in use to mmc, dun need to move to mmc.

Before formatting the mmc i could see the messages.Then I moved the folder e:/system/mail/(1st folder ) to c:/system/mail/(1st folder).formatted the mmc then moved the folder back to e:drive.Now I can't see any messages in my inbox(both mmc and phone memory).I already tried changing the memory in use to mmc and even back to phone memory,but it did not help.Also can u help me with the memory problem?After I copy the messages folder to e: drive the memory reduces from 15mb to 11 mb even though the size of the messages folder is 703.98 kb.

can u view the sms in fexplorer when u click on it?

if u cant view any, chances are, they are gone for good. if u can view the smses by clickin on each individual msg, den post again.

the folder is finally in the e: drive.I don't know about the fexplorer but in seleq when i go to e:/system/mail/00001001_S i can view the mms images as well as the ringtones which i had received in my inbox.there r many other files which i cannot open (maybe these are the sms files) cause it says "No related application installed".u ask if i can view the smses individually, but in what extension files are smses stored.how do i know which are the sms files.

Regarding the 4mb.
I don't know where this 4 mb is stored.its just that when i copy the mail folder to c: only 703 kb is copied,but when i copy the folder back to the e: drive. 4 mb memory is copied.
in application manager when I check the memory details for mmc it shows:---
0B Calender
0B Contacts
0B Documents
714kb Messages
0B Images
0B Sound files
0B video clips
0B applications
4018kb Mem. in use
11mb Free memory.

one more thing,
I did the formating of mmc 2-3 times.But every time I copy the folder I loose 4 mb.

so, u cant view any sms?

most files in the folder are smses, try using msg saver to save ur sms to pc.


as for the 4 mb... transfer the sms back to c:?
