Hey all,
I've got an 8250 here that was dropped into a glass of water a couple of months ago and hasn't worked since (absolutely dead, does not respond to the switch), and ive only just recently opened it up..
There didnt appear to be any corrosion whatsoever, but i cleaned it anyway using chunkhead's water damage method, but it still doesnt work.
I was wondering if anyone may have any ideas as to anything else that might work?

Cheers,
HaX

thats a bit complicated try these steps first.

1. Check the battery If no good replace
2. Check there are volts across the power switch If yes then
3. flash the phone, the software may be corrupt.

Try these and post results

Best Regards

Thankyou for the help people.
The battery is fine, and there's a voltage across the switch
i have a schematic diagram of a flash cable, so i can build it, no problems.. only i need to know the pin outs for the 8250, does anyone know them? a diagram would help heaps!

cheers
