But Q9 says the sw is not supports chinese Nokia 6600, it does not support English Nokia 6600. Anyone has tried to install it on english 6600 set? if it does not works, how to uninstall it from the phone? ( read the red color text )

The red text is just talking about the traditional and simplified chinese version
go get the english version
I m sure it will work for you

it's working great on the phone
now i can send and receive sms in chinese
reading chinese text file is also possible~!

Nokia wont just change the language settings on your phone. I don't understand why Nokia do this, all the old Chinese phones had English option.

they can add chi to it, but they can make ur fone chi, meaning, no more eng! lol.

and i tink u can delete 2 files to restart the trial, forgot the name of the 2 files thou... heheh, anyone remembers?

Q9Tech Chinese support can be use on 6600, i try it on my friend's phone, he just said "woow", no problem. :-o

yea...q9 confirm can be used on 6600 , but the unregistreed version has limitation...no " OPTION / SETTING " function.....so , when u activate the Q9 chinese sw...all ur phone's font will be replaced by Q9 font which is very tiny....

Anyone here got the registered key no???

decided to give it up.... so inconvinent to use....

I had tried my Q9 which works fine in my nokia 6600 ASIA version very well. Input character is working well. if u only read sms with chinese character.. u can have no expired alert.

Otherwise with input, u need to del some files ...... 2 continue using it.

not sure where, but i tink its in the q9 install dir, which could b system/app/q9, look ard there. u need a file explorer to find it btw.

u can download this file from Q9 site , filename is 6600STUSPYeng_font.SIS , this version is for Asia English 6600 phone. And, I think got to uninstall it , then delete the 2 files mentioned above , then install it again.

i tot there was an option to deactivate it? it will restart the fone, and it will b back to normal.

delete via the fone's install manager. rem to disable it 1st b4 u delete it.

ur mean disable = turn off the Q9 right...
it cant Switch Off !!!........

when i choose switch off my phone come out of this Msg "There is no built in input method found!"

like i said in the other thread, reinstall, rem to install the fonts again. wat fone are u using btw?

if all else fails, back up ur contacts and stuff and format ur fone.
