I tried all the codes that it gave me, but it always brings up "cannot undo restriction"... i thought the point of giving unlock codes was to UNLOCK them from the provider or wutever? anyone tell me why this is happening, or give me a code that works...? :-?

I think the problem you might be having could be down to one of 2 things:

1.) Your phone is not a DCT4/DCT5 handset, which is what the codes generated for are. You may need to look into a data cable method.

or

2.) You have reached your maximum number of attempts to enter a valid code. You only get 5 chances before an unlock code cannot be entered.

As I am from the UK, I am not familliar with the DCT types of handsets available in the U.S.A so i wouldn't be able to tell you what DCT type your handset is.

Not the news you were hoping for, but I may be wrong!

Feel free to pm me with any other questions u may have.

If thats the only info youre giving, then no unlock codes can be generated. it is also necessary to know the network code (xxx yy) for the handset in question.

I looked at the 3595 on mokiausa.com.. i dont recognise it to be anything dct3, nor does it look like anything we have in the uk (i dont think), but as it is a colour screen and java enabled, i'd say it is at _least_ a dct4.. if you have used the nokiafree dct4 generator, entered all the info is asks for correctly, and the given code does not work, then dont keep trying..

as the last poster points out, you only have 5 goes at entering an unlock code before it refuses to unlock the phone (i.e. the 6th time you enter a wrong code, it says "Cannot undo restriction")

you should get your local dirty-hacker electrical shop to unlock it. find somewhere that sells second hand phones or advertises phone repairs.. they will have unlocking kit or will be able to tell you where to go
