I have a nokia 3650 with the original 15MB memory card.im looking to upgrade to the 64MB memory crd,will this slow the phone down,empty or full?
Also,I found this site when trying to unlock a 8310 and iv looked everywhere for the answer to this question: What exactly is flashing?!

no... extra memory shouldn't slow it down.

hopefully you've found your unlock code. i'm sure you're well aware that you enter the unlock code by typing in a specific combination of numbers and characters. if you enter the incorrect code 5 times then your phone will be permanently locked to that provider (or sim, depending on what type of lock). your phone will be 100% functional, but remain locked. if this happens, the only way to unlock the phone is to "flash" the phone's bios. this involves a cable and specific software. in doing this, you install a new bios for your phone specifying it is unlocked.

@hesselite

You don' have to flash thh phone if you don't have any attempts left to unlock by code.

All you do is use a program to change/edit the lock data in the the eeprom. directly NO flashing is required and phones don't have a BIOS but an MCU+PPM+EEPROM+PMM.

it wun slow the fone, but if u load lots of app and stuff into the mmc, it will run slower, not tt significant anywhere else, but damn slow if u got loads of games in .jar format (java games.), where the app folder takes forever to open.

u shld get a 128 mb mate, 64 might not be enough!
