best mp4 converter

hey guyzz do u have any mp4 converter i have pv author but can u temme its setting cause whenever i play a mp4 clip on my p800...the clip doesnt play smoothly and when i try this on my 3650 it playzz smoothly .....so can u gimme the setting for it.......or does someone have a good mp4 converter ...................i have a 600mb movie which i can to convert in mp4 its about 2:30hrz long .....i want this movie to be played on both 3650 and p800 so i dont have to convert it again
