Hi!
I'm kinda newbie in symbian os smartphones, so i would like your help in three questions, if you don't mind:
1 - I'm thinking in bying a new MMC card for my 3660, replacing the original 16mb one. Since i have lots of apps and games installed on the 16 mb card, do you think i should format the phone to eliminate traces of previous installed versions, instead of unninstalling them all?
2 - Is there any problem (or NOT recommended) to format the phone without any apparent/important reason - like the situation i've just described?
3 - Can you delete (accidentally or not) any of the files in Z: drive?
Thx in advance!

1) yea, juz format ur fone. cleaned up and works better after, can clear up the junks too.
2) the code to format is *#7370#. no prob to format, juz dun stop the format process.
3) nope, u cant delete anything from z:, tts where the firmware is. formatting ur fone will bring any missing stuff back, if u managed to misplace some files from z:.

Hello tzeonn,
1. Do you know exactly what *#7370# (soft format) and (hard format) do ?
2. To prevent the handset run out of battery, can we do this while charging it ?
3. What can be the worst thing happen if the format fail. buy a new one ?
4. What are the minimum files (new phone) should be inside the phone.
I just got my phone 3 days ago and I found out that symbian is interesting but the file structure kind of not use to it.
Thanks a lot.

hard format is only for 6600 (the 3 buttons).
ur phone will become like it was when u 1st bought it.
u can format while charging, tis way is recommended. but not plug in charger in the middle of the process.
oh, if u disrupt the format process, prepare to make a trip down to nokia to flash it if its serious.
