No Ring Tone On 5210

Hi all,I have a 5210 with ringer not working.Are they the same as 3310/3330 to repair?If so which pin & pad do i connect the wire to?Has anyone a diagram that i can go by please?

did you try replacing with a new ringer ?

Hi gokhan,No i haven't tried a replacement ringer.I thought that diverting the ringer via a wire to pad as we do on the 3310/3330 would be easier & quicker.What do you think?This job is very urgent and i haven't a new ringer to replace.

Hi, Try This Before Changing The Ringer. Now The Ringer Has 4 Contact Pts To Pcb. 2 On Each Side.to The Right Of Ringer Is User Interface, Also 2 Sides.
Now Link The Left Bottom Contacts Of Ringer To Pin 1 On Left Of User Int.face & Count From Top. Now Link Pin 6 To Right Bottom Contact Of Ringer.
Let Me Know What Happens.

Hi henchivy,Thanks for the info;Tried it and it worked 100%.Many thanks for your help.Is there a diagram of the (5210 pcb) about.I want to keep it on file for next time.I think it would be useful to help beginers.
