Help...i cant link my 7650 to pc using IrDa

Help...i cant link my 7650 to pc using IrDa on Window XP.My Pc is running on dual Boot Window 98 and Window xp.My IrDa is running well on window 98.But come to window xp when i try to link up with my pc,this wireless link keep on interrupt it and causing connection problem.
Can someone HELP??? Or do i need to disable any program??

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Network

Click on "USB IRDA Adapter"

Go into the properties
Click Advanced Tab

Set Transciever type to SIGMATEL 4000
Turnaround time to 5.0
Max Speed Enable to 115200

Apply these settings and reboot when the system asks you to

It will work like a Charm, trust me!!!
