Okay, I cant search for any information on this cos the stupid forum search wont allow "old" or "new" words (too short.. grrr@retarded search)

So i gotta ask a question that im sure has been asked before:

How do i tell the difference between an OLD nokia 3310 and a new one? Genolite is asking me if im using an old one or a new one, and though i've checked in the *#war0anty# menu that my phone is made in october 2001, i dont know if that's old or not

if you have seen the 3310 board and a 3350, then you'll see the difference. the 3310 old has fewer keypad terminals than the 3350, while the new one (3310 new)has many, more likely the board of a 3350. the 3310 old has a single line regarding to its keypad and lcd lights, but the other has a separate keypad and lcd lights. so if you want to know, crack your phone open.

i gotta undo screws? damn.. cant put my hands on a t6 torx right now...

any other die hard way of checking? soemthing i can read with an mbus cable perhaps?

well, patch it with 3310 new. it will work anyway.
