Security code for 3310

I have an M BUS / F BUS cable for 3310.
I am wondering how to reset the security code with the nokia logo manager software ? I can find out what the security code is with it b ut when i try to enter the code the program ses it comes up with code error. Can anyone help ?

edit: there are no longer free codes in this forum. get them from your provider, buy a siemens clip to calc codes, or unlock with cable.

you can see your security code via logomanager. look for the "phone explorer", i think it is in the tools menu and im sure that it is in there.

yeah i can see the security code in the phone explorer but when i try to enter that into the phone it says code error for some reason ? anyone know why ?

probably because the phone is asking for the PIN code, and youre entering the security code...

they ARE 2 different things, you know


if you are sure the phone is saying "security code" (it only asks this for things like "reset factory settings" or "erase all phone book") then something is strange. you have a relevant mbus cable, so download noktool1.9 from http://blight.dk, load it, connect the phone and power it on, click the red ladybug next to "COM1" at the top. Wait, rolis should say "phone found on com X, active lines are dtr dts"
then click the SFR button.. it will reset your phone, all tones, gone, all dictionary learned words, gone, all operator logos, gone, all tones and screensaver settings back to default, phone book view mode back to default.

and security code back to 12345

i have come across over 100 of these. where i read the security code using logomanager or a other app. but when i enter the security code in to the phone get code error. i find this fault mainley with 3310's and 8210's. the way i sort it is to attach the phone to my old dct-3 unlock clip as this just de-activates the code function.

This problem occurs when the security code has been entered several times incorrectly, switch on the fone, leave it for 20 mins and it will then unlock with the code shown, if not just reset.

try using eprom tools V3.1 by B-Phreaks, use the repair IMEI function, it will reset everything on DCT3 phones,
