Connecting the N-Gage to a PC with USB

I tried to connect my ngage to my laptop (Windows XP home), even though win XP recognizes it, the PC suit does not. Ne ideas on what I should do??

I just want to be able to send files (mp3s, games, images) tothe phone

to send files to your mmc card then on your comp goto my computer then down to local drive* where * is the drive letter of your mmc and then drag files into it to transfer progs apps etc to your phone memory you will need a bluetooth dongle.

you should also get a copy of fexplorer on your phone that way if you drag and drop files to your mmc you can then move the files to your phone memory.

in order to do that wont i need an mmc card reader. i wanted to use the usb cable to send files frommy comp to the mmc. not via bluetooth. so is there anything else i can use instead of pcsuit to do this.?

i am not able to send files to my mmc, so even if i get fexplorer i cannot install iton the phone. how do i send files to the phone using the USB cable i got for the phone?

sorry missed out a fullstop in previous post. on your computer when you have your n-gage connected via usb you should find in the my computer menu something like local disk f this will be your mmc.

i connected the phone, windows gave a bee saying it found it, but the nokia connection manage does not detect the phone. also no new drive appears in win explorer.

forget about nokia connection manager or any nokia prog for pc have you opened my comp on your pc?

if your havin problems with your comp recognising your n-gage when its plugged in goto add new hardware.

to send mp3s, use nokia audio manager on ur cd.

pc suite wun let u use the connection wif usb cable. onli connections wif pc suite for ngage is data cable, which im not sure wat the hell it is, and bluetooth.

juz click and drag files to mmc using the usb cable.
