hey nk_au, i first wanted the army too, but now i am going for the flame, here's why: imagine making a call with the army housing... get the picture of someone seeing you ? ( think of some 2nd world war communication relict... the picture would just pop up to my mind if i see something beeing held to an ear in the size and shape of the n-gage with a camouflage pattern *g*... )

well i wouldn't have bought a hdw-2 if i would have just considered quality and tech spex. If I had that done that i probably would have gotten a plantronics M3000 which almost has double battery life compared to nokias hdw and it even weighs less and sounds better.
only reason i got the hdw was that it uses the same charger as the n-gage.

I think the hs-3w is a joke and it's completely ignores the biggest BT advantage: NO WIRES - damn, you have to pull around wires again with that shit. I never would have gotten that one!

erm, u can try an app from psiloc... forgot wats the name. (world clock pro? or eprofiles? argh!)

for the ringtones, checked u aint set any ringtone for tt person.

10 Things I Love About My N-Gage:
1. I can listen to MP3s, no need for CD, MD or MP3 players anymore
2. I can play decent and no doubt, great games
3. With games, obviously you can play single player ... but using bluetooth technology and GPRS ... you can play multiplayer locally or internationally!
4. With games and mp3s, then comes movies!
5. Because the N-Gage accepts MMC Cards, the larger the MMC ... the more content you can have. Maybe a whole movie! lol :lol:
6. I can have my favourite cover, some like the Flames ... some like the Army ... ;)
7. Ergonomic design, nice gaming experience - nice palm fit. Who doesn't agree with this point?
8. USB Support. Most of us use computers don't we? Some don't have enough money to buy Bluetooth. But the N-Gage comes with a USB Cable to connect to the PC. How considerate ...
9. You don't have to use those handsfree headset that Nokia gives you. You can have your favourite, comfortable headset and just stick in a adaptor! Sweet!
10. Usually Nokia gives you useless stuff. But this time, they ignored that. The N-Gage doesn't have Infrared! (Have you met a Series 60 phone WITHOUT infrared? Think about it ...). But for the first time (am I right?) a Series 60 has a integrated radio!

Downsides are the waiting times for Nokia to release some games. Barebone February ... but you can't blame them ... they are just trying to protect their sales! :D

hmmm... i've said that before, but 4 me the biggest n-gage feature is mp3 direct encoding. now that i got my 256 MB MMC it has become a nice "wow really" device amongst my colleagues... i use to deejay on most weekends and simply plug in my n-gage, record the mix and burn it on a cd after slight reworks. brilliant! even most fucking expensive state of the art "mp3 only" ( ipod etc. ) devices can't do that

Just got a deep blue/purple cover for my N-Gage and it looks like a completely brand new phone. Everyone at my lectures look at it strangely thinking its a turbo-charged new Nokia phone.

The price? £4.50 including postage and packaging.

The quality? Unbelieveable.

Fitting it on? Bit of a bitch to be honest but its on tight and it doesnt 'creak' or anything.
