nokia to samsung IRDA problems

I've now tried to do irda transfers with 2 diffrent samsung modles and I cant do it. Any one know why or if thee is a app so I can sed stuff to my samsung freinds?

wat is the things u want to send?

sad to sae, series 60 can onli send stuff to series 60 fones, or other better fones. it wun even send anything to series 40, cept contacts.

if u wanna send a pic, dun tink tt can b done, mayb coz the pic is too big for the other fone. i tried sending a pic from my 3650 to x70, portrait and normal pics wun work.

Well I have sent ics back anf fourth to the panasonic GD87 no problem. Righ tnow he would liek me to send him a ring tone. since I have Bt on my PC then send it from my phoen to his phone. but pics would be nice too.

well, ringtones wun work, unless in the right format for his fone. and pics? i dun tink so. mani mani fones wun accept pix from a series 60.

Guyz wat format is the ringtones in samsung...the new samsung with camera,and wat extension is monophonic?

My friend has the new samsung with the camera and i have the 6600 can i send ringtones to her through infared(note the samsung has infrared of course :) )

The Format is "mmf"not midi/wav

Umm i thought monophonice ringtones had a format of *.rng
