problems with pc suite following handset reset.

i bought my 6600 on friday 30/01/04, i was advised to perform
a "*#7370#" phone reset, i had already sucessfully installed the pc
software and connected my phone, synchronised the handset with
outlook, backed up the handset to my hd. but after the handset reset,
my pc wont connect, the serial number has been changed
to "OOOIOOOOOO" whereas the serial number was correct before the
reset. the phone still operates as a handset but i cant put files
onto my mmc card through the pc suite. i can "send to" files from pc
via bluetooth but it stores the file onto phones memory an not the
mmc card. do i need to get the phone looked at by nokia repair
centre??? anybody else had these problems??? replys appreciated,

did u format ur mmc too, after u formatted ur fone?

and if u wanna send files to mmc stored in inbox, u can go to messages, options, settings, set the mem in use to mmc.

i formatted the mmc first, then *#7370#...... ive been in touch with nokia and they tell me to uninstall the pc suite, remove registry keys and re-install pc suite, and that should work, but im at work and havnt tried it yet.

ive got SeleQ on my handset and ive been able to move files stored in the c:\system\mail\xxxxxx\x\xxxxxxxx\file.ext from phone to memory card.
