512 mmc on 6600

hi, my friend has a 6600 and wants to get a 512mb mmc for it. his firmware is v3.42.1. wud it work in it???

Umm there's a sticky at the top of this forum, perhaps you should look there, and the best philosphy when it comes to buying MMC, is to "try before you buy"

well, basically, even u try it b4 u buy it, the prob wun appear immediately...
most of the probs appears after u have used up more than 100MB of space or certain programs wun work, etc....

anyway the recommended one of cos is the trusty 128MB. tot small but 6600 is meant ONLY to read up to 128MB.

There are also cases of pple using bigger than 128MB n having no probs. well in my opinion, i generally feel that it is a risky bet to get anything bigger than 128MB. maybe u wanna check out in the sticky thread of the make of the MMC that pple have successfully used n have no probs.
