Play videos at any resolulation

Heres how to play videos at any resoulation on your symbian phone. First get any filemanager app and copy Z:\system\apps\realplayer to your mmc card in the to the E:\system\apps\ then open up realplayer.cfg on your computer (its in E:\system\apps\realplayer) and change MaxImageSize to whatever resoulation you want realone player to play up to (i set mine to 1024x820) you can also change where the mmc folder is and the locale media folder but i'm going to go explain about that cuz it should be easy enough to figure out.

Why would someone play a video at such a high resolution though? I mean, the screens not that big so why not just convert it to the size of the screen and as a result the video size will be reduced by about half or more.

Seems absurd to play such a high resolution video....It will be about the same quality as any 174x132 clip on your mobile.

Still though, nice find and ill see what else i can do with the settings later on.

But it should still work cuz i looked at the other versions of realone player for symbian os and oh yeah whops its in Z:\ :-o

i'm working on that right now but one problem my n-gage is in the shop i think it can be done by changing the settings that 1+1 in em or waz it 1x1 oh well whatever i probably gonna get my phone back today so i'll be back with a update soon.
